Universal Pre-K

The Longwood Central School District, through participation in the New York State Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program Grant, is anticipating providing a ten-month program, held five days per week, 2.5 hours per day, for pre-school children in September 2021, that will follow the Longwood Central School District calendar.

The program is 100% funded by New York State. The State determines the number of children to be served by Longwood Central School District. Children who are or will be four (4) years of age on or before December 1, 2021, are eligible to participate in this program.

A waiting list will be developed for all students not placed. As seats become available, families will be offered the next available placement.

Transportation is not provided for this program. Transportation must be provided by the child's family.

If you are interested in applying for your child's participation in this program, please complete this UPK Application:

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND that the UPK program is contingent upon approval of the New York State UPK Program Grant.
