8th Grade
Students take Art in 8th Grade, every other day for one semester. The focus of the 8th Grade Art curriculum is preparation for the studio offerings available to them in their first year of high school. Basic development in a variety of areas will enable students to identify their interests in a specific art discipline and better equip them for entrance into a studio or concentrated art class such as:  Drawing, painting, and sculpture being offered at the high school level. Another advantage of organizing the curriculum in this fashion is to assist students in making decisions and being informed regarding a career in the arts.
